Buying a home in the Netherlands can feel unfamiliar, especially when the market moves quickly and the documents and procedures are new to you. I help expats understand the process and make a well informed decision.
What you can expect
I work exclusively for buyers. I never represent sellers, which means I have one interest to look after: yours.
Buyers only
I do not sell homes. My work begins and ends on the buyer's side of the transaction.
Clear English
I explain the documents, the risks, the value and the bidding strategy in plain English, at every step.
A fixed fee
We agree my fee in advance. It does not depend on the price you end up paying, so my advice on an offer is never influenced by it.
From first search to the keys
One personal point of contact throughout the process.
I guide you from your first search and viewing to the offer, the purchase agreement, the final inspection and the transfer at the notary. I attend every viewing with you and look beyond the kitchen and the styling: location, maintenance, structural points of attention and what the property could become.
I research the property and the relevant documents, from ownership and the owners' association to legal particulars. Together we decide on a well founded bidding strategy, and I negotiate on your behalf.
My working area includes Arnhem and nearby towns such as Oosterbeek, Velp and Rozendaal.
